Thai Traditional Massage

Thai traditional massage, often referred to as assisted yoga, is performed without using oils and balms, unlike typical Western massages. Instead, during traditional Thai massage, you are fully clothed on a mat while the therapist uses stretching, pulling, rhythmic acupressure, and body rocking techniques to relieve muscle tension, aid relaxation, and promote better joint flexibility and circulation.

Although Thai massage is recommended for everyone experiencing pain and stiffness, we advise it mainly for athletes and physically active people. What is better than a good stretch after a hard workout? A deep assisted stretch by a professional therapist! This massage style will add resistance to the stretch and leave you feeling lighter.

At Sa-Wan, we will provide you with a kimono for your treatment. Alternatively, you are free to bring your yoga pants and a t-shirt if you prefer it that way!
